We are the creators of the Alliance Pool Series.

 

After several years and thousands of conversations with people involved in pool we have created the Alliance Pool Series. We received valuable input from league and tournament players, as well as from professional players and room owners. All the information collected has been used to create this series of competitions for players of all skill levels. Here is a brief overview of what we are doing.

 

We will be starting with our teams and singles competitions. Each session will last 6 months and start with a minimum guaranteed first place prize of $10,000 for teams and $1,000 for each of our 3 singles events. These prizes are based on only one pool hall competing with a 6-team division. Prizes will gradually increase as more pool halls and teams compete. When we reach 300 teams competing our guaranteed first place prize will be $50,000 for teams and $10,000 for each of our 3 singles events. These prizes will be paid out each session.

 

Each team will be comprised of 5 – 10 players. Over the course of our 6-month session each team will play 10 team matches. No need to worry if your team isn’t complete for each team match because the team can get every match completed with just 4 players.

 

Every division is guaranteed 2 teams in the playoffs. Divisions with 6 or more teams will also have one team guaranteed to be in the Teams Championships. Each team will also send two players to each one of the singles events. Any team reaching the playoffs will earn $1,000 and any team reaching the Teams Championships will be guaranteed a minimum of $4,000. This will give every pool hall a chance to be represented in the Teams Championships and every team to be represented in each of the 3 Singles Championships.

 

There will be no need to travel to your team’s match. Each pool hall participating will have its own in-house division or multiple divisions depending on the number of teams participating out of that location. We will only be playing at pool halls that have a minimum of 4 tables.
